It was an absolute pleasure to host the Redbridge Disabled Women Welfare Association in Parliament as they celebrated their remarkable 30-year anniversary. For three decades, this incredible organisation has been a beacon of empowerment in our community, tirelessly championing the rights and well-being of disabled women.

What started as a small group has now blossomed into a community of over 200 women from diverse backgrounds, coming together to support and uplift each other. Their dedication to creating a more inclusive and supportive society is truly commendable, and it’s heartwarming to see their continued growth and impact.

As we celebrate this milestone, let us reaffirm our commitment to supporting organisations like the Redbridge Disabled Women Welfare Association and ensuring that all individuals, regardless of ability, have the opportunity to thrive and succeed. Here’s to another 30 years of empowerment, advocacy, and community building!
