It was great to see so many friends at GMB Union Congress in Harrogate and at the GMB London Region get together last night.
Thanks to London Regional Secretary Warren Kenny, London Region President Penny Robinson and General Secretary Gary Smith for their continued support as we champion ‘Make Work Better’ in workplaces and Parliament.
I’ve been a GMB member and activist since I was a young worker, leading delegations to TUC Young Members Congress – and am proud to still be a member of GMB B10 Branch, where Penny is still branch secretary!
It was also fantastic to bump into my old pal Dave Clements catching up on industrial issues in his region.
