I really enjoyed meeting the Chairman and Secretary of our local football club, Ilford FC!
Its proud history, which stretches back more than a century, has seen some amazing highs as an amateur club. The work they do now with young people is inspiring – and they have ambitious plans for the future.
Ilford FC is facing some difficult times – but it has the potential to really flourish and be a shining example of grassroots football.
The club has my full support and I’ll be working with them to ensure that their plans come to fruition, and that local, affordable football, is available to everyone in our community!
