It was my pleasure to officially re-open the King George Hospital Emergency Department following a £5m investment into services.
After more than a decade of campaigning to protect services at our local hospital, it’s phenomenal to see the life saving impact of these improvements. I know it will make a real difference to patient outcomes and staff morale.
King George Hospital makes an enormous contribution to our community and I am always thankful, and grateful, for the incredible work of all of the staff, not least at the height of the recent pandemic.
