On Friday I joined several other Labour MP’s including Kerry McCarthy, and Olivia Blake, people from the world of television and film, ethical business, and environmentalists – hosted by Chris Packham and his team from Wild Justice to do a boat tour of Poole Harbour, and its many sites of Special Scientific Interest.

Poole Harbour is a stunning natural treasure, and somewhere that species have begun to return after being lost for as long as a century due to mankind’s activities.

An opportunity to hear about the crucial work of Wild Justice, as they hold government bodies to account and protect our natural environment.

I saw an Osprey hunting, another bird of prey called a ‘Hobby’, cormorants, and a very rare Forster’s Tern! Incredible special, what a reminder of how precious our world is, and how we need to ensure it’s wildlife and habitats are protected.
