I hosted a public meeting recently to hear about concerns from residents and businesses in the area around York Road.
The meeting, held at a hotel on Cranbrook Road, saw over 65 people come along to discuss their concerns which included, drug use, drug related crime, antisocial behaviour and more. I was also joined by Valentines ward councillor Ross Hatfull and Sophie Estelle from SHP who run the local Jason Lee House.
I will be raising the issues that were raised with local police and the council and will be holding a follow up meeting in September.
