Great to meet with many hundreds of local worshippers after Jummah prayers at Ilford Islamic Centre just next to my constituency office today.
It was truly inspiring to see the collective dedication of the community at the Ilford Islamic Centre who came together to facilitate late night prayers (Taraweeh) and provide a safe space for all those who wanted to worship during this holy month.
A huge thank you to the mosque for all the outreach and work that they do to support charities at home and abroad. The efforts of Ilford’s Muslim community to support those in need during Ramadan and throughout the year are a testament to their Islamic values.
