It was a pleasure to open a new CT scanner at our local Ilford Hospital, King George’s today.
I was joined by my fellow Ilford MP Wes Streeting.
Having the opportunity to meet the brilliant radiology staff and their expanding team was really heartening. I was also able to talk to senior staff about future plans at KGH.
Over the past few years we have had to defend King George’s so many times against potential cuts, so seeing capital investment going into this hospital, new equipment, and expanding specialist teams like the radiology department is incredibly positive.
